Stories of Leaving Religion

I am interested in hearing people's deconstruction or deconverstion stories. If you were in a religion and left, I specifically want to hear from you. I love hearing people's stories of how they left any faith and what life is like now for them, regardless of age.

Stories of Leaving Other High Control Groups

My interests are not limited to religion. Leave a political party? Did you have to ask a lot of questions about your orientation? Did you realize something you once thought was true just wasn't? Then you should reach out as well.
